Register for Upcoming Zoom Sessions for 2022

This User Group & Forum is designed to bring FTM users together to ask questions, seek support, and share experiences with one another. We encourage our Branches/SIGs to actively promote and engage their members to utilize this forum for the sake of learning more. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to Steve Fulton, UE as we move forward in developing this Group & Forum.

For thirty years Family Tree MakerĀ® has been North America’s favorite genealogy software making it easier than ever to discover your family story, preserve your legacy and share your unique heritage. If you’re new to family history, you’ll appreciate how this intuitive program lets you easily grow your family tree with simple navigation, tree-building tools, and integrated Web searching. If you’re already an expert, you can dive into the more advanced features, options for managing data, and a wide variety of charts and reports. The end result is a family history that you and your family will treasure for years to come!

Ontario Ancestors encourages our Branches to have in person meetings, workshops or presentations regarding the use of Family Tree Maker.  Family Tree Maker user groups are encouraged to provide Branch members opportunities to gather and learn FTM.  Each group will determine its own needs and best practices to support their members specifically looking for Family Tree Maker sessions.

Before posting here, we suggest you look at the Family Tree Maker User Companion Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and Online Support Center. See What’s New in Family Tree Maker 2019. You might also want to view the Family Tree Maker Tutorials for help in getting the most out of your Family Tree Maker. The tutorials are based on an early version of the program, but the guidance is still relevant with the latest update.
